Memorials Old Town Hall Sint-Oedenrode

On the old town hall in Sint-Oedenrode are some Plaques, one of them commemorates 11 killed American liberators of Sint Oedenrode.

Text on the Plaque:

WE SHALL REMEMBER THEM

THESE BRAVE PARATROOPERS
OF B COMPANY 502 ND
PARACHUTE INFANTRY REGIMENT.
101 ST. AIRBORNE DIVISION.
GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THE LIBERATION
AND DEFENSE OF SINT-OEDENRODE
IN SEPTEMBER 1944

The other plaque is in memory of of the mobilization of the Dutch 2nd Regiment Hussars. There is also a plaque that remembers the mobilization of this regiment during World War One.
