Commonwealth War Graves Ranville

Ranville Churchyard contains 47 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, one of which is unidentified and one unidentified German grave. After the war, there were added some graves from veterans from the Free French. Also buried in the cemetery is Lieutenant Herbert Denham Brotheridge. He was the first British soldier to die in combat with the Germans on D-Day.

Next to the Churchyard is Ranville War Cemetery situated.
