Provincial Memorial "The Brabant Soldier" Waalre

The St. Willibrord Church in Waalre is in 1941/1942 restored and after the end of World War II named as a memorial.
The church is the Provincial Memorial "The Brabant Soldier" and was established in memory of all Brabant soldiers and resistance fighters who were killed in the Second World War, in the former Dutch East Indies, Korea, New Guinea, the former Yugoslavia and in UN peacekeeping missions like in Afghanistan . All names are written on panels within the church.
