Dutch War Grave Burgh-Haamstede

At Vredehof Cemetery in Burgh-Haamstede Leendert Bakker is buried, who was killed on the day of the German attack on Holland, May the 10th, 1940. He served a volunteer corps (Vrijwillig Landstormkorps Luchtwachtdienst) with the task to detect enemy violation in the Dutch airspace. This volunteer corps was founded in 1921.
