Atlantikwall-Museum Hoek van Holland

The new museum, the 'Tafelbunker' (Regelbau 611) on the pier, provides the visitor of the story behind the 'Atlantikwall' in the region and in European perspective, using information panels and relics. The gun room contains an original 7.5 Pak 40 anti-tank gun.

There is also an exchange exhibition of objects that were found during the reinforcement of the dike along the Bergse Maas in Sprang Capelle. This site was scene of heavy fighting at the end of 1944 during the liberation. It became known as "Fall Braun"; The battle for the 'Kapelsche veer'.
