Westwall - MG-Shield Wahlerscheid
This concrete structure was to protect a machine gun. It is near the infamous intersection of the B258 with Rocherather Straße. Here there was heavy fighting for months in 1944 and 1945. The Americans gave it the nickname "Heartbreak Crossroads".
