Dragoon Camp Commonwealth War Cemetery

This war cemetery contains the graves of 66 British soldiers who fell in the First World War. Of these victims, 28 were killed on 31 July 1917 (the first day of the Third Battle of Ypres).

In addition 39 of the fallen soldiers that are buried here were part of the 13th Welsh Fusiliers, who started initially this cemetery after it was taken on 31st of July by the 38th (Welsh) Division . Initially it was called Villa Gretchen cemetery but afterwards called Dragoon Camp after a nearby house and is located on Pilkem Ridge
It was in use from August till October 1917
