Trenches Col di Lana

The Col di Lana was the focal point of the fighting in the Dolomite from 1915 to 1917 after the collapse Capareto. This 2.424 meters mountain top saw very heavy fighting and the top is blown away by a mine explosion on 17 April 1916. The top of the Col di Lana is only accessible via a walking tour of 4 hours from Livinallongo del Col di Lana.
