Jewish Memorial 'Levenspoort' Wageningen

This Memorial is to commemorate the 71 Jewish fellow citizens from Wageningen and environment who were deported and killed during the years 1940-1945 by the German occupiers.

The Memorial shows people who remain connected to the community. The Memorial was designed by Mrs. Yetty Alsace. It stands opposite the spot where until May 1940 Wageningen synagogue stood. The memorial was unveiled on May 4, 2000.
