Geul-line Casemate 7

This is Casemate 7 of the Geul-Line. This casemate of type S-3 was part of the delay line of the Dutch Geul-Line

The territorial commander in Southern Limburg constructed two defense lines, namely a border line (4 S-3 casemates) and a delay line (30 S-3 casemates).

The plaque on the bunker has the following text: 2-III-37RI 1940.

At the casemate there is also a memorial for two downed planes in this area. It concerns a Thunderbolt and a Halifax.
