St. Nicholas Memorial Church

This church was built from 1857 to 1870 and is dedicated to the defenders of Sevastopol. The names of important battles, units and the number of losses can be read on the outside. The names of 943 officers, generals and admirals can be found inside.

This memorial was badly damaged during the Siege of Sevastopol (1941-1942) and this damage can still be seen today.
