This monument commemorates the soldiers from Beaufays who fought in the First and Second World War.

Commemorated are the soldiers who died in the 1st World War

BECCO Bauduin, age 22, soldier in the 5th cavalry regiment, killed on 31st October 1918 at Adegem. 11 days before the end of the war !

DONNEAUX Jules, brigadier in the transportcorps, killed October 5th, 1914.

LEJAER Arthur, age 26, soldier with the 17th line regiment, killed November 6th1918 at Mariakerke. 5 days before the end of the war !

LECOCQ Georges, no details known

the soldiers who died In the 2nd World War

GROSJEAN Albert, age 27, soldier in the garrison of the forts of Liège, Regiment Fortifiée de Liège (RFL), killed March 20th, 1945 at Saint Pölten (Germany).

LEGROS Arthur, no further details known

Both side panels commemorate the soldiers who served to defend the country during the war.
