Fishermen Memorial Scheveningen

This memorial commemorates over 300 fishermen from Scheveningen who died on sea in the years 1914-1919. Most of them were killed by mines and torpedos.

The text on the monument reads:
In memory
of the more than 300
Scheveningen fishermen
who lost their lives at sea
during the World War
1914-1919.
