War Memorial Laren
This memorial commemorates the residents of Laren who were killed in World War II.
The 'Indies monument' in Laren was erected in memory of thirty citizens of Laren who served as soldiers during the Indonesian Independence War in the former Dutch East Indies. Two of them died there.
The two victims are:
Derk-Jan Aalderink and Henk Schutte.
