Memorial 'Saint George and the Dragon'
The Memorial "St. George and the Dragon" commemorates the rescue of 12 Jews in World War II. They were hiding here from 1943 until the liberation, assisted by Ivo Schöffer and Lydia Schöffer, who were awarded as "Righteous among the Nations" by Yad Vashem.
