Villa Lindenhof Emmen
On 02-01-1945 established the Supreme Commander of the German Wehrmacht in the Netherlands, Friedrich Christiansen his Headquarters in Villa Lindenhof.
He wanted to prolong the war.
On 22-01-1945, the villa was bombed by the Allies, but the bombs missed the target. There were a few houses destroyed and six persons were killed.
