Memorial Ambushed Resistance Fighters 1943
This plaque commemorates three Polish resistance fighters who were ambushed here by the Gestapo on 18 March 1943. One resistance fighter was killed, while the two others woundes. One of the wounded resistance fighters, Hanka Sawicka, died the next day.
