Memorial Temporary Allied War Cemetery

This monument was placed on the spot where a temporary cemetery was in 1944 during operation Market Garden.

The text on the stone is as follows:
Here rested the remains of 673 gallant soldiers and airmen of the United States and British armed forces. In the fall and winter of 1944 they gave their lives to free the Netherlands of Nazi tyranny.
