Memorial Polar Bears
This memorial commemorates the entering of the English/Canadian reconnaissance unit "Polar Bears" (49th Regiment) in Utrecht in 1945, after the German defeat. The monument was made by the sculptor Marie-José Wessels from Bilthoven.
