"De steen weent vanuit de muur
Habakuk 2:11
Op deze plek stond tot 1967 de Synagoge. De kleine Joodse gemeenschap van Veenendaal liet het bedehuis in 1851 bouwen. Tot 1940 is ze in gebruik geweest en werd leeggeroofd tijdens de oorlogsjaren. In 1951 kreeg het pand een andere bestemming."
