Memorial U.S.S. San Diego

This memorial commemorates the light cruiser USS San Diego. She fought in the South Pacific during the Second World War and was the first major ship to enter Tokyo Harbor for the signing of the Japanese surrender.

No crewmember on the ship was ever killed.
