United States Aircraft Carrier Memorial

San Diego was one of the harbors from which the U.S. Aircraft Carriers operated and still operate. From this location, the crew members were brought to their ships.

This memorial commemorates the use of the aircraft carriers in the Second World War and later on. The names of all aircraft carriers are written on the memorial.
