German Gefechtsstand Twente Airfield
The 'Gefechtsstand' was a post alongside the border. This command centre with 80 staff members constantly checked the air space. The information was used in the defence of occupied Holland or to attack allied aircraft. The remains of foundations and floors are nowadays visible.
They have now built a platform and placed signs.
