Memorials War Scenes Yasakuni

At the entrance of the Yasakuni shrine are two stone temple lantarns with plaques depicting war scenes. The plaque on the picture below shows the moment the gates of Port Arthur were opened for the Imperial Japanese Army. Port Arthur was besieged from 1 August 1904 to 2 January 1905.
