Water Tower Dongen

The water tower in Dongen was used during World War II as an observation.
The Germans have blown up many water towers at the end of the war and in the water tower van Dongen was placed explosive.
Four Resistance fighters from Dongen found the explosive thrown them into the Donge and so the water tower has been preserved.
