Memorial Hendrik Geeraert

This is a sepulchral monument at the cemetery of Nieuwpoort where Belgian veterans of World War I and World War II are buried. Hendrik Geeraert (1863-1925), the men who opened the sluices of Nieuwpoort and stoppend the German advance, is also buried here.
