Frontzate Hiding places Koolhof Nieuwpoort

Frontzate the cycle path over the railway bed from Nieuwpoort to Diksmuide was the Belgian line during the First World War due to the flooding of the Yzer plain.
Today we still see several remains of shelters, machine gun positions and medical posts along this line.
You can see various remains of shelters along the reservoir of the Koolhofput.
Most of these buildings were brick.
