Confederate Memorial Perryville Battlefield

This monument at the visitor center of the Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site Cemetery commemorates the men who served in the Confederates and gave their lives in the Battle of Perryville and were buried here. It was the bloodiest battle in Kentucky history, on 8 October 1862. In total, 532 Confederates died at the battle, but it is unknown how many of this number are buried here.
