Biography

Severely injured during a reconnaissance patrol in the morning hours of 20-10-1944 in Heike, Nuland and died in a field hospital during the day.
Directly from the hospital of the 9th Field Dressing Station, located in the Roman Catholic Girls' School Maria on the Kapelstraat in Uden, buried in the Municipal War Cemetery on the Burg. Buskensstraat in Uden, grave 234, from mid-1946 the British War Cemetery Uden. (The second member of the patrol was taken prisoner of war by the Germans.
