Biography

Albert Henry Britton served with the Royal Artillery as from August 6th, 1939. He was stationed with the Anti-Aircraft unit of Cardiff until June 26th, 1941, when he was send to the Middle East. Here he served in Palestine, Egypt and Libia (AA Benghazi) until June 5th, 1943. He was honorably discharged on August 22nd, 1944.

In addition to his embodied service of 5 years 17 days he also served in a disembodied role for a further 5 years and 81 days prior to the outbreak of the 2nd World War.
