Biography
Harmon Walter Butler was born on 23rd June 1923. He was induced on March 16th, 1943 and enlisted on March 23rd at Camp Grant, Illinois. During the Second World War he served with Company D, 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division. He arrived in Europe on May 24th, 1944 and left for the United States again on August 11th, 1945. He was honorably discharged at Separation Center Camp Grant on October 18th, 1945.
He died on 6th June 1995 and lies buried at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
Harmon Walter Butler also received two overseas service bars and was entitled to wear the Distinguished Unit Badge.
