Biography
Oskar Freiherr von Hohenhausen und Hochhaus was the son of Maximilian Leonhard Sylvius Sigmund Joseph Freiherr von Hohenhausen and Hochhaus en Maria Freiin von Freudenberg.
He served with the Bundeswehr from 1956 until 1962. Here he finally reached the rank of Oberstleutnant.

November 1st, 1940: Major;
December 1st, 1942: Oberstleutnant.

His nomination by his unit was sent to the Heerespersonalamt (HPA—Army Staff Office) on 15-5-1945 as a teleprinter message. The HPA received the message on 16-5-1945. Major Joachim Domaschk noted: "not processed". The presentation date 11-5-1945 was assigned by Walther-Peer Fellgiebel. Hohenhausen und Hochhaus was a member of the Association of Knight's Cross Recipients (OdR).
