Biography

Gerald H. Bloyd left Air Base Headquarters, Albuquerque with Crew 23 in one of 26 B-17 bombers for Clark Field by Special Order No. 1, 19th Bombardment Group of October 17th, 1941 with the rank of Technical Sergeant. With the Japanese invasion he was taken POW and died as Master Sergeant on May 31st, 1942 in Pw Camp 4 O'Donnel Tarlac Luzon Philippines.
