Biography

Joel A. Cummings was born on May 8th, 1923 as son to Alfred A. Cummings and Minnie A. Norris.

He left for the Pacific on February 28th, 1944 aboard the U.S.S. LaSalle (AP-102) from San Francisco and his unit landed near DUlag, Leyte on October 20th, 1944.
Joel A. Cummings was killed in action at Leyte on December 3rd, 1944.
