Biography

The Mulheim raid ended with my Father's Halifax being shot down over Holland and his subsequent evasion. My Father returned to 78Sqn, after Evasion via Comet Line, and completed a further 38 Ops.

Following the Berlin Airlift my Father joined BEA and completed his flying career on Lockheed Tristars. He had come a long way since his first Solo in a PT17 Steerman Bi-plane
