Biography
Born 31-10-1919, the son of Wolter van Klinken and Cora van der Creek, both of Dutch descent. He enlisted in june 1942 the paratroopers and was assigned to Easy Company, 2nd Battalion 506 Regiment, 101 Airborne Division. Was wounded in Normandy and killed in machine-gun fire on 20-9-1944 during Operation Market Garden in Nuenen, near Eindhoven.
