A memorial plaque was placed to the right of the Liberation Monument by Marco Kilian on 15 June 2005:

This Monument is dedicated to all that fought and is symbolic for all the sacrifices made for the liberty of Holland.


In 2024, because of '80 years of Market Garden', a second memorial plaque was added in memory of the three men of the 326 th Airborne Engineer Battalion, C. Company, 101 Airborne Division, who died during the liberation of Nuenen:
