Biography

Frank A. Kielar entered active service on November 3rd, 1943 with 2138th AAF Base Unit op Craig Field, Alabama. He was trained for fighter pilot in the twin engined P 38. As from June 21st, 1944, he operated in the Mediterranean and went back to the USA on May 9th, 1945.
He was honorably discharged at the Separation Center, Maxwell Field, Alabama on November 27th, 1945.
He finally reached the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
