Japanese Coastal Defense Gun Adelup Point
Japanese WWII Type 10, 120 mm caliber dual-purpose anti aircraft and coastal defense gun. The battery is located on Adelup Point (Hagåtña, Guam) along with a small Japanese shrine that was placed in the promotion of peace. During WWII the gun would have had a played a critical role in defending the western side of Asan Beach from the Allied invasion.
