Airfield Heesch B.88
Construction work of Heesch B.88 began in October 1944. There were a number of fatal crashes in the area. It was turned into an army camp after the last warplanes departed on 18 April 1945. There is still a concrete runway between the Berghemseweg and the A50, renamed to 162e Wingweg.
