Nevenbatterij Fort Veldhuis
This land battery was built in the early 20th century to support the "Fort bij Veldhuis (Fort at Veldhuis)", model A. This fort was completed in 1903 as part of the Stelling van Amsterdam (Defence Line of Amsterdam, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
The fort was mobilized both in 1914-1918 and in 1940.
