Anti-Tank Gun Type 1

Imperial Japanese Army Type 1, 47mm Anti-Tank Gun found on Naval Base Guam (Santa Rita, Guam - Naval Base access required). Introduced in 1942, approximately 2,300 of these guns were produced at the Osaka Arsenal and was the first Japanese anti-tank gun design. While not part of the official Naval Base Guam Historic Trail the gun offers a small piece of WWII History on Guam.
