Memorial Cairn McCrae's Battalion
This memorial commemorates the men of McCrae's Battalion (16th Royal Scots) who were killed in action on 1 July 1916. The cairn remembers in particular players and supporters of Heart of Midlothian Football Club who made a significant contribution to the make–up of the battalion.
