Batterij Den Hoorn (BP 19b) - Dutch Gun Emplacement

This bunker was part of the Dutch complex 15 I.35 Battery Den Hoorn. The complex was built in 1938-1939 and was almost identical to the battery east of Fort Kijkduin.

Along with the structures in Bollekamer and Loodsmansduin this complex was a part of the defence of Den Helder.

In 1942, the Germans installed an anti aircraft gun at the battery. After the war this German structure was demolished in 1986.
