Garrison Cemetery Brest

The garrison cemetery of Brest contains a military plot with the graves of 1602 Soviet soldiers and 3 partisans who fell between 1941 and 1945. There is also a mass grave with the remains of Soviet POW's who perished between July to December 1941 in a POW camp in Brest.

This cemetery contains besides the Soviet plot also individual placed tomb stones for Soviet Heroes of the Soviet Union and senior officers who fell or served during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).

A mass grave at the cemetery contains the remains of inhabitants of this city and surroundings who were murdered during the German occupation.
