Memorial Fallen Dutch East Indies

This monument is a lying granite stone with an engraved text and the emblem of the Indies-goers and a simple granite cross. A helmet is attached to both the stone and the cross. In April 2009, the American and English helmets were replaced by a Dutch model, as it was believed to be the correct helmet for the monument.

On March 31, 1995 this monument was unveiled by Mrs. Spoor, widow of General Spoor. The foundation was an initiative of a number of veterans from the East Indies.
