War Memorial Haarlem
The war memorial in Haarlem is a large stone formation with three plaques on it.
The monument contains 136 names of the killed residents of Haarlem. In the May days of 1940, 48 soldiers from Haarlem were killed. In the following war years, another 88 Haarlemmers gave their lives, in military service or with the merchant navy.
