Belgian War Graves Libin

At the municipal cemetery in the Latin Quarter at the church of Libin are some Belgian war graves from the First and Second World War.

Nicolay died in the Belgian military hospital in Chambéry.

"Albert PIROTTE
Soldier of the 4th regiment of the Ardennes Hunters
born in Libin on 25.9.1911
gloriously fallen
in Desselghem (West Flanders)
on 5/26/1940 "
Albert Pirotte was in Ponthoek to ensure the further occupation of the support points near the bridge and along the road from Olsene to Dentergem. He died after a bombing.

"Marius COISM
born in Libin on May 9, 1920
fallen in the field of honor
in Deynze on May 26, 1940 "
Marius Coisme was part of the 5th regiment of Ardennes hunters.
