Memorial Stone Klausheide

1953 unveiled memorial stone for the victims of the Second World War of the formerly independent municipality of Klausheide (1931-1974). The memorial stone consists of a plinth of clinker brick and bears a slab of Bentheimer sandstone on which a steel helmet is depicted. A sandstone slab is attached to the side of the memorial stone. The names of the dead are not mentioned on the memorial stone. Eight dead, eleven missing and two people who died as a result of the war are mourned from Klausheide.
