Memorial Crew Cromwell Tank Vinkel

Memorial Crew Cromwell Tank Vinkel

This memorial in Vinkel commemorates the five British soldiers who died in October 1944. This group rode in a Cromwell tank and took part in the liberation of Den Bosch. The tank was fired upon by the Germans. One of the grenades ended up in the tank through a peephole, killing the entire crew.
